Hi, I’m Brian.

I was born in Ohio, but now I’m a dad of 2 in Southern California. I attended Temple University in Philadelphia, moved to Hollywood in 2010, met my wife, and began my online editorial career as a Senior Writer for Perez Hilton.

Yes, that Perez Hilton. While there, we were under strict NDAs, did not have official bylines for what we were writing, and had to write entirely in Perez’s voice. It was the perfect place to learn. I found my footing in SEO, writing in different styles, working with celebrity egos, and working in an extremely fast-paced setting in the world of publishing.

Now, over 15 years later (with a brief, almost half-decade as the Head of Publishing for a baking company), I am the global Director of Content for a kids tech brand called myFirst.

Now that all of the professional mapping is out of the way, I should tell you a few more things about me from a personal perspective.

I have an incredible passion for storytelling and creative writing. I’m a Slamdance (2023) Quarter-Finalist for a script, I adore video games as a medium for telling impactful stories, and I currently have a short film in festivals called HIDE.

I’ve written books, scripts, narrative podcasts, short stories, short films, and more.

My cat, I should note, is currently sitting on me. Our dog would be too, except she’s not allowed on the couch (fur reasons). I love my life and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. And, special thanks to my wife, Heather Kincaid, for taking the few photos of me that you see on this site!
